Hearing the words “Borderline Personality Disorder” used to mean nothing to me. Then I read the words Borderline Personality Disorder…and read, and read, and read as though looking for a reason that I DIDN’T have it. But that was hopeless. I have it.

I’m an introvert. I’m a writer, a programmer, a painter, a cross stitcher. I’m a music lover and a dancer.

But my mind?

It’s a storm of emotions, a lover then a hater; a pessimist; a shadowy figure waiting to reveal its claws and aim right for the heart… It’s a brain with a disorder. And it really sucks sometimes.

In the beginning, I scoured the internet for any information from people with BPD; any advice or help; or just someone’s experience to connect with. So I decided to start this blog as a means of expressing my own thoughts and experiences, and to connect with others who may be struggling and searching for someone like them.

So please read and comment; get in contact with me and share your story. I would love to find others, even those with disorders other than BPD, searching for connection and meaning. I want to hear your story and feature it here, whether anonymously or with your name and/or blog attached to it.
